Stoffrest

Am Wochenende wurde mein Quilt vom dem Challange "Farbe und Form" ausgestellt. Alle Teilnehmerinnen hatten einen Umschlag mit einem Stoff bekommen. Dazu gab es einen Zettel mit einer Form. Ich hatte grünen Stoff und ein Quadrat gezogen. Ich hatte so gehofft, dass es das Quadrat wird - und es hat geklappt! Das Grün (Oliv der Rand) fand ich etwas trüb und habe versucht es mit anderen Grüntönen aufzulockern. Die Farben kommen auf dem oberen Foto nicht so ganz gut rüber, ich denke, unten sind die Farben echter. Last weekend my quilt of the challange "Color and Form" was shown. All participants had  got an envelope with a piece of fabric. In addition we got paper with a form. I had green fabric in my envelope and a square drawn. I hoped so much to get the square - and it worked!  The Green (Olive the edge) is a bit dull in my opinion therfore I tried to mix it up with other greens. The colors are not so good the top photo, on the otherone down they are better ...

Seit über einer Woche bin ich zurück aus dem Urlaub, doch bislang bin ich noch nicht zum Bloggen gekommen. Aus dem Urlaub gibt es nicht viel textiles zu berichten. Außer vielleicht dieses Schwein, dass ich in einem Schaufenster entdeckt habe: For over a week I'm back from my vacation, but so far I have not blogged. There is not much to report depending textiles from my travel. Except maybe this pig which I found in a shop window: Dieses Wochenende sind die Kreativtage in Berlin. Vom Patchwork-Treff Berlin-Brandenburg stellen wir dort unseren Challange Farbe und Form aus. This weekend are the Creative Days in Berlin. From Patchwork Treff Berlin-Brandenburg we show our Challange color and form there. Im Weiteren werden verschiedene Mitmachaktionen angeboten. Es können auch wieder die Eulen mit Wackelaugen genäht werden. In addition, various workshops are offered, e.g. the owl with moving eyes can be sewn. Endlich habe bin ich dem Aufruf von Sieglind...

Letzten Monat habe ich noch einmal den Schan genäht. Er war mein erster Hasenbach-Block , doch ich war nicht so ganz zufrieden. Der Horizont war mir damals nicht so ganz gelungen. Und auch diesmal ist der Horizont nicht ganz gerade. Ansonsten gefällt er mir schon besser.   Last month, I sewed the swan. It was my first Hasenbach block , but I was not quite satisfied. The horizon was't horizontal. Even this time the horizon is not quite straight. Nevertheless I like it more. Weitere Hasenbachblöcke gibt es bei Cattinka . More blocks are shown at Cattinkas blog.
